And not go put some summer tires on the Honda. See, it was a good 65 degrees over the whole weekend, I actually was sweating a little bit. However, around 9 am this morning it starts snowing, there's already a good inch or so of snow on the ground.

Love the Accord hatch! Grew up with one, blue on blue velour-ish interior, 5 speed. Family traded it in just 2 years before I got my permit. Damn.

Honestly, the longer I have this car and the more I work on it, the more I want to keep it, I flog the shit out of it, daily drive it a good 70 miles, and barely do maintenance on it, and it just keeps on running, it refuses to die on me and I love it. Not to mention, minus some rips on the seams of the front seats (1 rip per seat), the interior is PERFECT. Literally all it needs is a quick sew up, and the carpets shampooed, a new shift boot and it is will be perfectly immaculate.
I'm seriously considering, after I get my 944 back up, about parking this, and dumping about 2 grand into it (by my estimates that is what it would take to fully restore it minus a paint job) and just use it as my every day beater.
And is that a 2g Accord? Something I love about Honda's, is that they don't drastically change, they change slightly generation to generation

Mrs McMike keeps sending me photos of the snow on the deck (about an inch or so, nothing on the streets)
Shocker, as here in DC it was in the 60s all weekend.

Right? I was outside replacing my thermostat in shorts and a t shirt on Saturday, and now it's been snowing for 4 hours.

Ha, I was rolling around under the van trying to mend a rack boot.
I was starting to sweat in my coveralls. BEAUTIFUL weekend, it was.

Yeah it really was, I was kind of depressed that I'm still fixing my 944, would have been a perfect morning to do some high revving winding roads.

Yep, 2nd gen. They don't drastically change but I doubt we'll ever see another 3 door Accord. :) Keep the Accord, that's one that you'll end up with seller's remorse! Or sell it to me! I'll take care of it!

Yeah, Honda really doesn't make hot hatches like they used to, I also owned a 3 door 89 DC Civic when I was 18, which also happened to have a new clutch put in while I owned it, that's when I learned how fun it is to drop a clutch.
And I had originally bought this car as a quick fix to get me to and from work until the 944 is fixed, I will have to sell it eventually, but I do like the stupid thing. And you live near northern VA? I'd rather sell it to a real enthusiast then one of those 3geez retards

Depressing. I lived in Fairfax back in the 90s but now I'm 3000 miles away in Portland. :(

Ah, lameness. But, I will make sure whatever happens to this car it doesn't end up in the scrapper. Even if the engine blew I could rebuild it for less then 1000 dollars. It would be dumb not to help keep this car around.
